Drive provides sessional support to people living with their families, or in their own homes and flats. This can be a few hours a day or week, to help with whatever you need, for example personal care, medication, budgeting, planning meals, attending activities or going to the bank. We will regularly review and agree with you the times you have support to ensure that they meet your needs and those of your family.
The Local Authority will assess your support needs with you and tell us what you require.
Whatever your support needs our staff will take time to get to know you, what you like and don’t like, and how you want support provided. We can provide skills teaching and active support to increase your confidence and abilities around your home.
Support from Drive is firmly rooted in the community. We are committed to listening carefully to the people we support, seeking to find out how individuals want to live, and finding creative ways to help people live the life they choose. In the words of people we support; ‘Your Life, Your Way’.
Drive aims to make a positive difference to the lives of the people that we support, believing that effective services only take place when those we support are living a full and valued life.
